Iceland was a wonderful place. The wide stretching fields covered in snow, a backdrop of fairytale mountains, ever changing skies, boiling puddles and steaming hot springs. It's a place of dreams, and it feels like, for those two weeks, we got the chance to live one for real.

Mountains everywhere, birds flying over patches of clear blue ocean between the white snow covered ice. Sun peaking behind the rock formations on early mornings chilly with winds from the icy mountains. Some magician has been at work here. Or maybe God exists after all.

And that was that. That was Iceland. In all its glory, all its brutality and all its tender sweetness.
